I have a tv that is a few months old. when I try to turn on blue light comes on but nothing else. Have unplugged, checked remote and used manual buttons...Help

You have a power supply problem.Most brand they have modules. If you can open the back you will see a few separated Modules.You will see a power supply module just replace it Take note of the connectorsThey have letters usualy to match the plugs. By the away do you have any sound?
Well first of all you can tell us the Brand and the Model number of your TV? and tell how old is your TV? Anyway you can try to reset your TV first unplug (switch off) your TV for 24 hours and then turn it again........... let us know if further you have the same problem.......
take your tv to technician who can check your power supply, if your power is coming on and off, than a problem is not as big. firstly let him check a ht of a supply constantly, your supply is cutting.
WIth the set only 7 months old, it should still be under warranty. The problem now is that by opening it up, you effectively have voided the warranty. That being said, the problem is that a problem has been detected internally and the set shuts down to prevent further damage. The first suspect is the main power supply board. I would try for warranty service first. If that is not available a local service shop should be able to take some measurements inside to detemine whether the power supply is not working correctly or if the suply is being told to shutdown. WIth what little info is available here and not being able to examine the actual unit, remote diagnosis will be difficult.
