For converting 486 to the base 10 to base 6 dived 486 by 6 and note the quotients and remainder.

486/6 = quotient = 81 remainder = 0.now divide quotient by 6 and note quotient and remainder.

81/6 = quotient 13 remainder= 3

13/6 = quotient 2 remainder = 1 .

2/6 = quotient 0 remainder= 2.

Hence reading remainder from below we get 2130.

So 486 tot he base 10 is equivalent to 2130 to the base 6.

Thank you.

I have d3098. The cordless is saying power problem with base phone. My cleaning lady threw out my manual and Idon't even know where battery is I need a new manual.

I suspect remote is unable to communicate with the base and is reporting the issue as power loss at base.

So does the base function, makes and receives calls?

Reset the base unit and power supply by unplugging the base power supply from the wall, wait at least 1 minute, plug base power supply back into wall outlet.

Reset remote by removing battery wait a minute, reinstall battery.

If after the reset the base can't make/receive calls, its likely failed.

If the base works and the remote still reports base power issue, could be either base or remote.

The manual is at the following link...

How to remove turn base from base on a Makita LS1011 Slide Compound Saw?

If you have removed the kerf boards and the center bolt the saw will lift straight off the turn base. It is possible the aluminum is deformed a little, but it will pull straight up and off if that bolt is out

Uniden dect 1580. I have 2 bases and they are both identified as base #1. How do I change one of them to base 2?

I too have a Uniden Dect6 Model 1580-2 with two handsets. The system comes with 1 base (the larger one) and a phone charger (the smaller one with no buttons, just the charger cradle and a led that lights when phone is plugged in).

I was puzzled with your 2 bases affirmation and I checked with my set.
I took handset 1 and pressed the Menu button. I selected HANDSET SETUP. The first option under this heading is Select base, with two choices Auto and Base #1. I tried both choices and each time there was only a base #1, no base #2, thus confirming that in the set there was only one base.

If you have more than two bases, one handset can be registered to more than one base (actually 4 compatible bases). I suspect that you have to register each handset to each base. By doing so, each handset will know that it can connect to two bases and you will be able to select base#1 and base#2.

I need the base id for a vtech house phone model number 6772

It sounds like you are trying to register the handset(s) to the base. Once the handset is charged, if you see 'Searching for Base' on the display,(The bold is for your question specifically but I thought you may like all of the information for getting a phone hooked up) ON the Base unit press MENU, scroll down to Display Base ID, press OK, and the Base ID code will display. If NEW appears in your handset display, press the soft key under it and enter the base ID code you found in the base display. If 'New' does not appear on your handset, press MENU and then scroll down to REGISTER. Press OK and then enter the base ID code. If the handset is already registered, please deregister all then register again. To deregister a handset which is registered to the base model 20-2431, Using the soft keys on the base, press the 'MENU', then press the down arrow once until 'SETUP BASE' is highlighted. Press 'OK'. Press the down arrow 6 times, until 'DEREGISTER ALL' is highlighted. Press 'SET' . If your handset is registered to the base model 20-2481, Using the soft keys on the base, press the 'MENU', then press the down arrow twice until 'SETUP BASE' is highlighted. Press 'OK'. Press the down arrow 7 times, until 'DEREGISTER ALL' is highlighted. Press 'SET'.

there is a simple solution for that just follow these steps and than all will go good

I would recommend resetting it to it's default state. This usually takes care of any problematic plug-ins. below has details on how to do this.

1. Click the Tools menu, and then select 'Internet Options.
2. Next, click on the Advanced tab to the far right and click Reset.
3. Another dialog box will then open up, click Reset.
4. Once IE7 is done restoring to the default settings, click Close and then OK.
5. Close any browsers you may have had open and restart it. Everything should now be reset to the default.
or for just click this link and than click on download and run ie7 new

Problem Siemens Gigaset 4000 and 4200

If you had a storm, and the only handset that works shows line in use, then your base has gone bad and needs repair. The reason the phones are flashing base 1 or something to that effect is because they don't see the base anymore, which typically means no phones will see your base, so its odd that one phone is actually seeing the base. Either way, you can try re-registering the phones to the base, but if you get the line in use after they register (if they will register), then your base is bad. If they won't register, your base is bad. For additional assistance you can go to www.cordlessrepair.com
