Yes my panasonic sa-ht67 system stop playing my cd and dvd it try to read them then it comes back saying dvd ho7 ,no play ,can tell me hat the problem is and how i can fix it?

Had a similar problem with a Sony DVD recorder which I found was due to standing the unit on its front which caused the 'on/off' switch to be depressed for a long time, this put the unit into 'childlock' mode - I found holding the 'on/off' down for about 20 sec cleared it.

Will read dic and play movie for about 10 mins and then stop and give me the error code H07. What is this and how do I get rid of it?

I hope you've already unlocked your DVD player by now, but for all those searching after you, I got the solution from Panasonic.

Make sure the device is on the DVD/CD mode. Press the Stop button on the main unit and the >=10/Enter button on the remote control simultaneously. You will see the word "Initilize" on the device, and at that point it is unlocked.

Panasonic SA DK10 starts reading discs, gets to 00 and then stops

If this problem occurs only at this cd/dvd it's a disk problem. If it occurs on various disks try using a cd/dvd cleaner set, a wet one is better. Follow the instructions on the set. The main idea is to put one drip of the included liquid at the set (usually isopropyl alchohol) at a specific place (like small brush) on the disk surface and play this disk. This way the "brush" will clean up the laser lens and after that the cd/dvd player will be able to read the disks. BE CAREFULL not to put too much liquid on the "brush". In case this don't solve your problem, the cd player needs laser lens replacement by a technician.

Plays only cd's no dvd's reads no disc

The laser lens would have got repaired inside. Please change it.IT will read the dvds. It cost about 25$ i suppose

The system has a locked / unlocked toggle sequence on the main unit by holding down stop (or Play) and then tapping the power button. Use this sequence lock or unlock the DVD / CD drawer.

You may be better off getting a new system rather than having it fixed. Your problem is in the head itself unless the head pick up that there is a CD or DVD in the tray it won't even spin. Since the systems are constantly coming down in price it is cheaper to buy than to fix.
