HP 6210 using double paper?

Uses 2 pages to print anything, Copy or fax. Prints original then blank page .
If fax is 5 pages it sends a blank page out in between each printed page

  • Anonymous May 08, 2008

When using photo paper, it starts to copy on one sheet, then picks up another sheet, resulting in the first sheet having part of the copy and the second sheet having the remainder of the copy. I've tried to clean the rollers, front and back.

Try cleaning the rollers (especially in the back door). It stopped mine from jamming. Hope it will stop the double paper thing!

Press 2, and then press 1. This selects Print Report and then selects Fax Report Setup. clip_image001.gif Press to scroll through the following report types: Every Error: prints whenever there is any kind of fax error (default). HP IIIp prints extra blank pages

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.

Hope this helps
Thanks J
