HP 6210 using double paper?

Go into the printer driver setup and uncheck print separator page.

Symptom: Black or Blank image while copying or scanning.
Part suspect rating: Scan head..70%

Formatter...5%
For tech guys only: Remove ADF unit from the printer, remove both side covers of adf, remove & replace scan head, check...
Replace scan head

Reports you can print
You can print these reports whenever you need to. Some of these reports can be set to print automatically also.
1. Press Report/Help.
2. Choose the report you want by using left or right arrow.
3. Press Start/Enter when the desired report is displayed.
4. The selected report will be printed.

Sending Confirm
A confirmation report shows whether the transmission was successful or not,
how many pages were sent, etc.
ON: prints a confirmation report automatically each time you send a fax.
OFF: never prints a confirmation report (You can print one manually using the
Report/Help button (see Print reports on page 51).
ERROR: prints only when an error occurs.

Even though the toner was shown at 1/2, I had the fax machine operator install a new cartridge. Problem solved!

The scanner unit is not coming to the home position for the ADF, you can't get individual parts.

By using the Duplex button on your machine, you can set the machine to
print copies on both sides of paper.
1 Press Duplex.
2 Load originals face up in the ADF.
3 Press the Scroll buttons until the binding option you want appears.
• Off: Prints in Normal mode.
• 1->2Side Short: Prints pages to be read by flipping like a note
pad.
• 1->2Side Long: Prints pages to be read like a book.
• 2->1Side: Scans both sides of the original and prints each of them
on separate two papers. (SCX-6322DN only)
• 2->2Side: Scans both sides of the original and prints them on both
sides of a paper, this function produce exactly the same print out
from the original. (SCX-6322DN only)
• 2->1Side Rotate2: Scans both sides of the original and prints one
of them on separate two papers, but the information on back side
of the original is printed 180° rotated. (SCX-6322DN only)
4 Press OK to save your selection.
If the mode is enabled, the Duplex button is backlit.

Collation

You can set the machine to sort the copy job. For
example, if you make 2 copies of a 3 page original,
one complete 3 page document will print followed by a
second complete document.
1 Press Copy.
2 Load originals face up into the ADF.
For details about loading an original, see
page 5.1.
3 Enter the number of copies using the number
keypad.
4 Press Menu until Copy Feature appears on the
bottom line of the display and press OK.
5 Press OK when Copy Collation appears.
6 Press the Scroll buttons to select Yes.
7 Press OK or Start to begin copying.
One complete document will print

I found the solution to my problem: Press Menu, Pound Key (#), 35 to set copy size, 36 to set fax size, press Start/Set, then use up/down arrows on right side of the machine to select 92%, 86%, 72%, or Off. Press Start/Set to select desired setting.
Press Menu to exit!

You can configure your HP all-in-one so that it automatically prints error and confirmation reports. If you need printed confirmation each time a fax is sent, follow these instructions before sending any faxes and select Send Only. To set automated report options from the control panel Press Setup. Press 2, and then press 1. This selects Print Report and then selects Fax Report Setup. Press to scroll through the following report types: Every Error: prints whenever there is any kind of fax error (default). Send Error: prints whenever there is a transmission error. Receive Error: prints whenever there is a receiving error. Every Fax: confirms every time a fax is sent or received. Send Only: prints every time a fax is sent indicating whether the fax was successfully sent or not. Off: does not print any error or confirmation reports. Press OK to select the report.

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.
