When you say "hard reset" do you mean turned power on and off or used the reset button?
Hold the reset button down for at least 10 seconds, then see if the router resets. If not, I think you are in the market for a new router

How old is the router?if more that a year or two i would just replace it, they are not made to last forever i already been through one it lasted about 3 years an it was a linksys.Try holding the power cord to the back to see if the power light stays with you holding it still ,on i know after awhile the connection can get lose, if it stayes on while your holding it replace the AC adapter or just get a new router.

Hey Have you checked your hot and neutral on the power plug ? With the ground prong on the bottom, hot is on the left (black wire in house wiring) and is bigger than the neutral slot on the right ( white wire in house wiring) If you haven't done this before DON'T open up the wiring.....

Get a "Ground Fault" wiring tester at Home Depot, Lowes, etc. It will also tell you if the wires are reversed. about $12.

BTW....
Reversed wiring in the phone connection will allow voice calls but computer modems, faxes, can fail. Tester for this is at Radio Shack.

60" sharp aquos power indicator is flashing one short flash and one long flash and keeps repeating the sequence

POWER LIGHT FLASHES ONE SHORT AND ONE LONG FLASH.
What is the problem? THE PROBLEM IS THAT ONE OF THE LED's STRIPS IS BAD!

SHARP AQUOS LC60LE810UN RESET INSTRUCTIONS

1)Plug in TV to electric current First then wait until LED start flashing.
2)Press Volume DOWN [ - ] HOLD BUTTON.
3)Press Channel UP [ ^ ] HOLD BUTTON.
4)Press Power [ (') ] HOLD ALL three buttons until LED stops flashing and then release.

·This will reset the TV in order to fix the problem.
·THE FIX IS TO REPLACE ONE OF THE LED's. You need to open the back of the TV and you will also need to remove the front cover and panel to get to the LEDs. The TV will need to be placed facedown and on the backside. This is a 2 person job to turn the TV on its sides. Be careful with the white computer connectors (wide white strip) at the base of the TV where the TV stand sits. You will need to disconnect this in order to get to the LED's.
Once you have the LED's exposed, you will need to unplug one by one by placing the new strip next to it until the unit turns on. You will have to use the RESET procedure above if the Power lite flashes. The Power lite MUST BE ON SOLID - no blinking in order to test the strips. The LED's will flash, but still one of them will be burned. Even if you stare and all the strip light-up, you will still need to check one-by-one!
Once the TV lights up, your face will also light up with joy! Put everything back together and you are set. If you need the complete instructions which come from Sharp as to how to disassemble the unit, please send me an e-mail to [email protected]. Please note I don't check this address daily, so a few days wait may take for you to receive the instructions.

Where can you buy the LED's - try searching Yahoo.com or Google.com for resellers.

I powered my Peavey XR1212 board on and it keeps flashing on and off as though something was touching together inside.

Hi Sean! Same problem. Initially the LEDs flashed on and off. In the end the LEDs finally stopped flashing and and just blinked once when I turned it on.I took it to a Peavey repairer and found that a couple of transistors were blown He ended up replacing the board. He seemed to think that dodgy speaker leads may have caused the problem. Maybe the flashing is just a warning. Don't ignore it! Hope this helps.

Ga-x58a-ud3r the pwr led keeps flashing but not always depending on what im doing (pwr led front panel). this is a new system. i7 930, 12gb corsair xms 3, four 500 g hd raid 0, geforce gtx+ 9800 512mb,...

that is custom system like mine a DIY build
and custom unstated case., bought as new case only I bet of vast.
and if built wrong it fails.
the LED is where the POWER on LED wired wrong is it.
the Power on led does flash wired correctly for sleep mode.
if wired wrong is now the HDD activity LED, and should flash
x58 is good chip set, pure intel it is
usb3 chip NEC needs good driver so watch out there.
pwr_on LED
goes to pins 2 and 4 only on the header. page 30 in linked manual
if is wired correctly the led is called MSG

MSG/PWR (Message/Power/Sleep LED, Yellow/Purple):
and
Connects to the power status indicator on the chassis front panel. The LED
is on when the system is operating. The LED keeps blinking when the sys-On is in S1 sleep state. The LED is off when the system is in S3/S4 sleep Blinking state or powered off (S5)
so the manual told you blinking is S1 power state ACPI.
other causes
bad LED (power button)
loose wires at mobo end of that or at power switch.
mobo bad, here, rare as hens teeth if user did not jumper DC power to this LED pin and blow the driver transistor up. guesses wild does that.
BIOS controls (you set it) soft power off , instant off or off. mode.

no case told some are dead wrong here, some cases , use a 2 way LED for power, and is 2 LED wired in parallel and reversed
to get 2 colors . and fails on simple mobo. not using bipolar controls to LED. NO CASE told so NO JOY , 10,000 cases made or more that the same but generic cases do work if is that, not OEM cases..
