Make sure that you don't need to overclock your setting (in BIOS ) so as to get full ddr3 frequency. That it, you need to overclock your CPU speed and if you want to work at great speed, try you upgrade you processor.
try a core 2 duo or a quad-core and make sure that it matches with your FSB, with maximum L catch ( 12 mb)

Can I install Windows XP Professional on an Emonster 600 ?

Yes you can...

Installing Windows XP on a Emonster 600 is the same process as installing Windows XP on any Windows-compatible personal computer. The process is not difficult, and can be completed quickly.

#1 Insert the Windows disc and restart your computer. When prompted to press any key to boot from the CD, press a key. Windows will begin the set-up process.
#2 When a list of hard drive partitions appears, delete each of them by pressing "D" to delete and "L" to confirm deletion. When finished, you should only have one choice: "unpartitioned space."
#3 Press "Enter", then format using the NTFS file system. Do nothing while Windows begins to install.
#4 Wait for Windows to restart. When the process continues, enter the product key, the time and time zone, and your name when prompted to do so. Allow the installation to continue; it may take some time.
#5 when Windows restarts again, continue the process using the on-screen instructions. The process will vary depending on your hardware configuration.
#6 Connect to the Internet and activate Windows once you reach your desktop. If you can't, you can also activate Windows over the phone. Installation is complete.

I keep getting tossed into Protection error or Blue Screen!

The harddrive from another computer, with an O/S installed on it already, is the problem.

Am I to assume the harddrive you're trying to install, has Windows for an O/S?

Microsoft's Users License states, "One GENUINE copy of Windows per One computer"
The genuine copy of Windows on the harddrive you're trying to install, has already been Activated on the computer it came out of.

(Microsoft has a Master disk of each Windows O/S. The copy the user obtains, is a copy made from this disk. It is then a Genuine copy from Microsoft. If it isn't a Genuine copy, it is an illegal copy)

When Windows is installed on a computer, it assigns 'codecs' to major hardware components of the computer.
Think of these 'codecs' as serial numbers, for the hardware components.
(No computer owner personal information is recorded. Just THAT genuine copy of Windows, to THOSE hardware components)

Some of the major components are, Processor, Harddrive, Motherboard, (More specifically the BIOS program and version, that's on the BIOS chip),
and Graphics chip. (GPU)

Change two or more hardware components, and a 'red flag' is put up. 'Codecs' do not match for the AOpen motherboard, and the hardware components on it.
(Different BIOS program, different Processor, and different GPU)
Therefore, it is believed to be installed on more than one computer.

Easiest solution would be to buy a full installation disk of Windows, and install it.
[Also go into BIOS Setup, and in Boot Order, set the first boot device to CDROM]

Intel 845 GVSR drivers for windows vista

Fix for older motherboards like Intel 845GVSR etc.,
HERE IS THE SOLUTION FOR FIXING DISPLAY PROBLEMS....
(This solution works for any Intel Motherboard)
No need to donwload or install any drivers.
Vista has everything built in.
Only thing is it needs atleast 128 Mb of Video Memory, but for older motherboards like Inter 845 by default the Video Memory is configured to 64 Mb which is resulting in your problem.
So what you have to do is...
SOLUTION:
Restart your computer > Press DEL Key
and
Go to BIOS Settings > Advanced > Video Configuration
1. Change "AGP Aperture Size" from 64 Mb to "128 Mb or Higher"
2. Leave "Primary Video Adapter" as "Integrated"
3. Change "Frame Buffer Size" from 1 Mb to "8 Mb"
and then press F10(i.e., Save changes and continue).
Sometimes, for the first time you may see screen not aligned properly, in that case just restart once more and Vista will automatically adjust the alignment for you.
Also, you can change the resolution to your desired one manually as follows...
1. Click "Start Button"
2. Right click on "Computer"
3. Select "Properties" option from the context menu.
4. Scroll down and find "Disply Settings" option and click it.
5. Adjust Resolution Size and Mode.
NOW, ENJOY USING VISTA.....
