When you are restarting the PC - Press F8 Key till you get the options to Boot
Choose Last Known Good Configuration and load windows
Once you have logged into your PC - try to MSCONFIG

If that does not work, Open Task Manager ( CTRL + ALT + DEL ) key and Click on Services Tab. Click the Services Button below. and it should let you open SERVICES.MSC

Disable all the Antivirus software installed ( double click on the software name and under Startup type - choose Disable )
Also Disable the Windows Installer

Try to access or Download some Virus program to Run or Clean.

I can no longer use my laptop cause it will always hang eventhough i just newly open it.

Check the laptop if is heating up..if so then you can check for some kind of dust inside which is heating up the processor.
Do a virus check by going into safe mode with networking ,to go there restart the computer and then start tapping F8 on the keyboard in advance boot menu goto safe mode with networking and hit enter, there might be a virus in the computer..run a scan with malware bytes or hitman pro....google the two tools you will find the links..they are free.

Select safe mode !

If it finishes booting into safe mode then you can try another re-start.

If on the other hand it does not work after being in safe mode the issue may lie in some software you have recently installed or new hardware.

in either case remove that hardware or software (in safe mode) and try again.
If it still insists on re-booting when you select normal then I would begin looking at possible mal-ware, spy-ware or virus issues.

Should you get a specific error message then that may also be useful in troubleshooting issues.

You must have come in contact with a virus. Does your friend have the capability of slaving your hard drive to his to remove your data. If so, then he or you can reinstale the operating system.

Cannot start up laptop; may be a virus

Try starting your computer in safe mode and do a virus scan once in safe mode. While in safe mode Windows only loads the basic devices to run your computer and usually viruses are not loaded untill windows starts in regular mode. Don't panic once you are in safe mode and your screen looks all grainy, this is normal.
  1. Restart your computer and press F8 as soon as you turn it on.
  2. Click the "safe mode with networking" option
  3. Update your antivirus
  4. Do a full system scan
  5. Restart your computer and hope for the best.

You will need to uninstall and install your program

Restart your computer--> black screen--> after the Bios check (is always the 1st step)--> start pressing the F8 key repeatedly--> Windows boot menu will apear--> use the arrows--> Safe mode

It will look different from you normal Windows (don't worry about this)--> go to Add / remove programs--> Uninstall your spysweeper program--> restart your computer normally--> install your program normally--> check for updates

Computer will not start

Hello,

Choose Last Known Good Configuration. If that doesn't work, choose Safe Mode and then do a system restore to roll back your PC.
