My washing machine has stopped draining the water out and therefore does not complete the cycle. The machine stops and the lights just flash. I have drained the water and checked for anything that might have caused any blockages in the front of the machine as per the instructions booklet but have found nothing. There is also a noise which I can only guess is coming from the pump. It almost sounds like something stuck in there but don't know how to get to the pump to take a look.
The pump is usually located under the unit, attached to the motor or belt driven. If not sure, it should have two 1 1/2 inch hoses attached to it. Something may be stuck in it or the bearings maybe wore out & it needs replaced. Pumps are not that expensive. Powder detergent will wear them out faster also!

bad cable or slide contacts or even a connector block is disconnect from a connector , it can happen when the If the motion result of the drum was too large, and can happen when a suspension eye was broken on the drum to know every brand has its own remarkable safety tricks on marketing technical arts. ( or its only a circuit thermal circuit breaker that has a problem with a slide cable connector on it or the breaker itself is damaged. Track the circuit from the program clock you can sometimes find a remarkable defect in modern washing machines.
It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAINpump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. The fault specified seems an over load or over current in the motor. So remove motor and check to confirm.Make sure there is no jamming of the aggitator or the drive, and too much of load. Power off and reset.
The water pump can be blocked and thus stop the machine from finishing the wash cycle. In front on the bottom there is as hatch that can be opened with a flat screwdriver, the small black rubber pipe can be used to first drain all the water before the opening the filter. Small objects such as coins coluld be found in here, blocking the pump. Clean the pump by removing these, optionally blowing into the outlet (yuck!), to dislodge anything. If that does not help to fix the problem, you can clean that actual water pump, but this requires you to use a screwdriver to remove the pump.
Tilt the machine on its side, the pump is attached with 3 self-tapping screws. (if you can't figure out what the pump is you should probably let a technician do this). The pump has 2 parts to it, take it apart carefully and clean out all the dirt that has accumulated in there. Plastic friendly, waterproof grease can be applied to the pump spindle and bearing if available.
If the problem still persists a new pump is available from LG at a reasonable cost.
OE is drain error, which means that the machine has detected that the water level is not lowering quickly enough...Probable cause is a blocked pump filter...Check via small door at floor level..Unscrew pump cover and clear filter....Remember that all water will drain from this point, so drain machine first...Leaning the machine back can help...Good luck....Nomess
Your problem is either in the control board or the water level switch. The computer can't tell if the water has drained or the control board is stuck in the 8 minute drain cycle. Recommend pulling the plug and wait 5 minutes to reset the computer. If the problem persists, it will require an LG experienced tech to see what's going on.
