Samsung SF560 Message reads "toner empty". Replaced new toner cartidges and still get same message. have change toner in fax but getting message (jam 1) or toner empty it seems pretty common problem as others users have the same!

Most printers/faxes need more than one or two sheets of paper in the hopper in order for printing to commence. If it's not that, take out all paper. Turn off the printer/fax. Wait five minutes and turn printer/fax back on. With some printers/faxes, that almost acts like a re-boot. Good luck!

the best thing to do is buy the original toner. how ever if u really can't then try changing the blue colored one

If the Toner Low/Empty message does not automatically clear when a new cartridge is installed, use the following to clear the message manually:
1.Press MENU # 1 9 3 4. The machine should display TECH.
2.Press MENU, and ENTER. The machine should display TECH Mode.
3.Press the left arrow < once. The machine will show NEW CARTRIDGE.
4.Press ENTER, the machine will show YES.
5.Press ENTER, there should not be any Toner Low/Empty message.
6.Exit TECH MODE, press MENU # 1 9 3 4. The machine will no longer display TECH.
If Toner Low/Empty message continues, there may be a problem with the toner cartridge or the machine.

Clear/reset the settings on the printer. Press in this order w/o pausing:
menu
#
193
start

If you do it correctly, the LED will say "Select Country, US", then you press "OK", then it will clear the settings and the error message should go away unless you have a dirty sensor or your toner is installed incorrectly.

I have a feeling that it is a re-manufactured or compatible cartridge??
There is a fuse that needs to be replaced on this unit. it blows when the cartridge is installed to reset the machine. If the fuse has not been replaced or is defective the machine will not recognize the new unit.

If you have already try another image unit, you should try to make a copy or print a report. If the prints came out ok, the problem could be the telephone line. GOOD LUCK.

in the box with the new toner cartridge was there a credit type card to use when changing the toner to reset the toner counter?

I have put a new toner in and it says "[jam 1] or no cartridge" please help this is an office fax and desperately needs to be working.

1-remove power from fax.
2-clean contact points in toner cartidge and the contact in fax which it make contact together.
3-knock above toner cartidge many times.
4-move it in horizontal direction from left to right many times.

Check if there is a fuse in place (usually fitted to the front edge of the cartridge) and always replace when refilling.
