I had the same problem. The machine would wash but not drain and the time savers button would blink. Turned out to an eye from a teddy blocking the pipe that enters the drain. I hope this helps.
I had the same problem, I called a free quote engineer who said it was the panel, £80 for the part + fitting. My dad then sent his mate round (20 years experience), found a magnet loose on the motor, fixed it no problem for a small fee ( a lot less than Hoover charge, and a lot less than the needless new panel). My advice is to get somebody out on a no call-out charge and mention this to them.
Got machine replaced after 4 engineers had no idea of the problem, received the more up to date model, after a stern letter to Hoover, the replacement runs like a dream no probs ever since.

stops in cycle, and will not drain, flashes on timesaver, repair men been out 3 times and they havent got a clue, really fed up now.
Drum will not empty. Time Saver and speed flash intermittently. Remove back cover, removed pump (2 inlets, one outlet). Some coins in trap, but not significant. Removed pump and dismantled. Pump looks healthy (only 18 months old). No damage to blades due to coins. Thinking problem may be on 2nd pump that connects to this one. Other option is blockage in pipes.
Time saver button flashing intermittently. Machine will not start. Filter clear.
wont drain, no blockage visible, washes continually timer saver light flashes everything stops working
Starts wshing, then stops. Timer light flashes s odes 1200 spin spped (not doing 12oo spin wash). Problem was intermittent, but now seems to be happening on every wash. Was coping by switching it off then setting it to rinse, but it's now happening on the rinse cycle as well. So far it still spins and drins ok but I suspect it's only a matter if time.
the 15 min ,time saver, sensitive care and stain blaster flashing
