Tune to a station you want to program. Hold one of the station preset buttons down for about 3-4 seconds. It should 'beep' and store the station.

How do i program the F.M. Stations on my stereo's

It really depends on your radio but most of them you just go to the radio station you want and hold the number you would like it to program to for about 10 seconds

Having programmed by car stereo with the FM stations I required (newly bought car, 1 year old), I find that the programmed button number 3, which is programmed to station 97.3 jumps to 102.7 without...

you may have auto seek (rds) which when the signal is weak it will search for the same station or one it thinks is the same station with a stronger signal, you should be able to turn this function off, also the button normally acts as "2" presets so the switch may be defective

How to lock in radio station on kenwood face off cd player

once you have the station you want to listen to on the radio press and hold one of the buttons along the bottom of the stereos face for a few seconds the screen should flash for a second or two or it should beep as well to indicate its saved it.

if when you turn the ignition off and then turn it back on the stereo has forgotten the station you programmed you need to remove the stereo from the car and check the wiring at the back of the unit. most of them have a red and yellow wire that are joined by metal push fit connectors, swap these two over and it will then remember the station for you.

the red wire is the switched power lead from the ignition and the yellow lead is a constant live feed for it to remember your settings, if these are round the wrong way it will keep forgetting radio stations you program until you switch them over.

Truoble programing radio stations.

it sounds like the memory wire isnt connected to the correct position the memory wire on the stereo needs to go to b+ also a faulty battery can cause this even if the battery can still start the car. an auto electrician should be able to test the battery for free to eliminate that as the problem
