My friend Maurice gave me a L32HD31YX16, no picture no sound, after four hours of research and trouble shooting, no schematics.

I had no +12 and no +24 volts on the power supply board. I did have the +5V.

The repair is an 85 cent fuse under the blue transformer, There is a 200mA fuse, green with a "C" on it, at location RB8 (1206 package).

I went to the shack bought a 250mA glass fuse and holder for 5 dollars just to get it done. So far the unit has run for an hour.

You need to access the menu and have the TV auto-scan for channels again. Over-the-air channels are different than cable channels.

Yes i have a rca l32hd31 and i went to turn it on and all that happens is the small power light on the bottom comes on but the tv doesent, i poped the back and checked the fuse and i dont see any burning...

Parece existir algum problema na Fonte de Alimentaçao do TV. Provavelmente capacitores eletroliticos deficientes. Quanto ao cabo USB service voce teria que possuir o programa de fabrica para ajuda-lo na pesquisa do defeito. Se possuir conhecimentos tecnicos verifique a FONTE.

Light comes on (flashing amber most of the time) but a black screen and now sound. Happened suddenly. Working fine until then.

L32hd31yx16 tv has no sound or picture. it was working fine last night. The power light comes on then turns red.

Tries the tv and cable box unplug,replug it back an hour later.Let the tv reset it self back to factory setting.The cable box upgrade it software.The tv should,work now.Not,than the tv power supply board have problems.That the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

I have a L32HD31YX16.I turned it off before I went

Just to let you know that these tvs had bad power supplies.
Take your unit to a Service Center where the fix tvs.
Since there are no manuals to repair these, they will geive back your tv with a work order.
With that Work Order call 1-877-297-8391 and they will give you a new tv
