52 inch RCA - green light turns on & off, BUT no picture

Posted: Tue Apr 15, 2008 3:45 am Post subject: 52 inch RCA - light blinks on & off BUT no picture I have a 52 inch RCA HD Projection tv. Whenever I try to turn the tv on the green on button will come on and the tv makes a sound like it is going to come on, but the picture stays black. Then the green light turns off on its own. Then it blinks 3 times, makes the sound like it's going to come on, then turns itself off again.

It is a D52W20 model w/ a ITC222 chassis

I read a posting that said to check in the back to see if the CP150 looked ventilated/puffed out. I am not sure what that is, but I checked anyway and everything back there looks in okay, nothing is puffed up.

I also checked for cracked wires in the front, but they're in good condition as well.

Is there something else I can check for?

Please post the model number of your RCA as usually its a bad flyback and start up capacitor when you get a 3 blink error code . But I can help you better if I have the model number of your set.
