Hi sanmotra77, if you just surf the internet & do not download any files does you're notebook restart? Or does you're notebook restart after being on for some time?
Touch you're battery after 15 minutes & check if it's hot?

    Hi sanmotra77, well your system should not do that. Suggest you get out your restore cd's & reinstall windows. Do not format the system or you will loose your personal data. Some programs may need to be reinstalled. The point is not to loose your personal data & repair windows.

Hi gawaynelcy ,

As you have installed the Windows 7 Operating System in the Computer, it is required to re-install the Drivers and Software in the Computer to fix this issue. Installling the following files in the in the given order should fix the issue.

http://s02.download.sony.com/US/pc/SOAVCC-70192539-US.EXE


Please download each file and save it on the Desktop. After that, please double click on the downloaded file to begin the installation. Please make sure that you restart the Computer after each installation for the settings to take the effect. This should fix the issue.

Can not load internet explore
Dear User ,

Please follow the steps to resolve the problem you have with corrupt internet explorer

1. Download and Run the Following File to remove the internet explorer 8

http://sites.google.com/site/mic4je/IE7_easyremove.exe

Note : It also works for Internet explorer 7

2. Once the internet explorer is removed , Restart the computer Once

3. Download the Internet explorer 8 from microsoft site and install it

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/worldwide-sites.aspx

Note : Select the Region and your Operating system

4.Once installed - restart the computer again

Please let me know if it worked

Sound driver

Below are the link to download the Sound Driver for your Computer. Please open the link in a new Internet Explorer window. Then, you can save the file on the Desktop and double click on it to begin the installation. After installation, please restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect.

Hi rbrown454. That file is for your HP printer. Go to hp.com and click on support and drivers and download the latest driver for your printer. While it's downloading go to add/remove programs in Control Panel and uninstall ALL HP software. Do not restart, wait for the software to finish downloading and restart. Then reinstall the software you downloaded from the internet.
In case you have the CD, reinstall the CD but make sure you uninstall ALL HP Software.

Recovery about the lost files
just download this software called "DiskInternals Partion Recovery"

Download and install the software in a PC. All you need to scan is the pendrive, your data will be intact if you have not written any file in the pendrive after the incident.
