Hi, the problem is in flaper of registration sensor, it got worn out. Replace it, and do the preventive maintenence routine ( check/clean/replace rollers, clutch,... )
try by pressing function and then data registration and set/ok!It will say user settings and use the arrows up/down to scroll to printer settings, press set/ok and scroll to paper size, press set/ok and if its on a4 use the arrows to get to LTR and press set/ok!If that works then u will need to have the registration sensor at the back looked at as it is most likely not falling into position after the paper has passed it!Good Luck and remember to vote PSE!!
you mean you're getting 1 or 2 extra sheets when machine is printing faxes? Feed roller and separation pad that pull paper from the tray are worn.....cleaning will help in the short term.
After what operation does the machine report the jam. If it is trying to print something and the paper doesn't pull, then it will report a paper jam, even though the paper didn't move. If this is the case then the paper feed tire behind the toner is dirty. Cleaned with rag and rubbing alcohol.
The problem is the paper size doesn't match the size of paper set by the machine. Usually this is corrected by changing the paper in the tray to legal size. However, you may have changed the size of paper in the data, so check that in the user settings.
