Broken charger port

i have the same problem with my enV my friend stripped the wires to my charger at the part where you plug it into the phone so now to charge my phone i tape the red wire to the positive on the battery and the black wire to the negitive there will be a shiny metal goldish color thing (there like 4 lil gold bars) on your battery that looks like this --> (negative) | | | | (positive) | - | | | + | tape the wires on the outside were the symbols are - and + and try not to let it toch the middle bars on the battery or it wont work and dont cover the little bars up with tape put the battery back in the phone making sure the wires dont move to much and it should charge sometimes you got tape the battery onto the phone to make sure it doesnt pop out but its what i do and it saves you money on having to go buy a whole new one or if you know someone with the same phone give them your battery to charge it :)

Lg prob

it is better way if you have warranty then make use of it ...

if not if you are good at opening then open it and just have a look near port ... if you have the broken piece join it by soldering...

if you dont have that broken piece then just take two small wires an d carefully identify the positive and negative in the circuit board & solder it near the port which is used for charging and then cut the pin of the charger and connect the positive & negative correctly to those wires whenever you want to charge ....

else visit the technician he will replace if the spare part of it is available ..

this doesnot charge too much it is affordable so i suggest you to visit the technician....

Do you have the PC transfer cable. If you do try that and see if it recognize it. If it does you can charge it thru that using PC.

Charger port

Go to www.factorydirectcellular.com. They sell a battery charger that doesn't require the battery to be attached to the phone. This will work for the LG EnV phone. $17.00 + $3.95 shipping. Case closed.

Env help plz

The reason the phone won't charge is because the internal power port pins are broken off of their solder joints to the main board inside the phone. Wiggling it helps at first because the pins can still touch their connection points but after a short time that will cease to help. Google "cell phone repair". It usually cost around $50 to get it fixed with a new power port installed. Turn-around is usually 2-3 days.

Charger port problem

or google BTC-UNI

iT'S little cheesy but hey for $10 and free shipping I can eat a lot of cheese.

Just plug your battery into this little clugy thing, plug the thing into the wall, wait until battery is charged and then put your battery back into your phone...presto...for this kind of money who cares if the VX9900 has a dead battery charge port.

I bought two, they were on sale for $7 each. It's ugly and takes a bit of patience but it works.

Charging

sounds like there is something stuck in your phone or a piece of your charger broke. You can try and buy a new charger or bring your phone to verizon to check it out
