This is a no video issue.
Try these simple stpes:
1. remove the power cable from the tower
2. press and hold the power button for 10 seconds
3. open the side panel of your tower (cpu)
4. remove screws that hold the video card from pci slots
5. remove graphics (video) card from the pci slot
6. clean contact points of video card using a clean rubber eraser
7. wipe contact points with clean cloth
8. install the video card back into the pci slot
9. plug the ac cord back in
10. place the side panel back
11. turn the computer back on
If the LCD screen has an amber power LED light and doesn't display anything, replace the video card.
First, connect this monitor to another computer, if you still do not get a Windows image on the Samsung LCD monitor then it is faulty. The fault could be a faulty inverter board that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or the fault could be a faulty CCFL lamp.
