Hi, my name is prince can any body help me. I have a mother board gigabyte 845 and we can not installed xp. we have done the partition but when system copy the system file from CD the system againt showing a format process. Pl any body help us

Are you installing Windows XP service pack2? This is the problem from the bios, upgrade the bios with latest and it might solve your issue. But be very careful when upgrading the BIOS if the proper version of the BIOS is not upgraded it may corrupt the bios and will make the motherboard dead. Download the manual of upgrading the BIOS from the website, you will also get the latest version of the BIOS from there.

A kernel-mode process or driver incorrectly attempted to perform memory operations. Typically, a faulty driver or buggy software causes this.

STOP 0x43 means:
A disk device driver called the I/O system to change a partition type on a specified partition, but the partition does not exist.

(The last 3 numbers are parameters for the previous request)

No we can't send it to you, but you can download the drivers from the Gigabyte WEB site. Make sure you download the correct drivers for your model motherboard and the correct XP or Vista version of the drivers you need.

How formate
Hi,

Sure you can format, as long as you partition the drives into something smaller. Spit the size up and see if it formats that way. Why do you want such a large drive anyways, Defrag would be a nightmare with that size.

Lost driver cd
Simple, look for some kind of reference to model name physically printed on main board, ie "GA-XX1239". Go to gigabyte's site, search via board model number, download audio, video, chipset drivers etc for relevant OS. Normally there's a pic of board so you have a visual comparison.

About Linux fedora and XP
Without knowing more about your system, the key rule is to install XP first, then Fedora.
If that doesn't work then it's time to put more partitions on your hard drive, and install the 2 operating systems on different partitions, again, remembering that Windows XP has to be the first installed.
