I BOUGHT A POLARIS BY MEADE MODEL-114EQ-A,

I just found it. I bought one too. Look on the Meade site. Look up manual StarNavigator NG Series Telescopes with AudioStar. It is 52 pages. There are 2 telescopes in the manual. The one you are looking for is there.

Yes they are almost duplicates either manual will work. They all assemble and are used in the same way.

I would recommend the DS2000 should be DS2114 AT. The AT
refers to the use of the autostar hand box. This is a helpful tool for the beginner. Once you learn how to align the scope the computer will guide you around, helping you become familiar with the orientation of objects in the sky.

try Meades website for the info not sure what you mean by round part!!

I called the Meade customer service number at 1-800-626-3233
and they are going to email me the manual for this model.
FYI - it's now called a Jupiter 114EQ-D.
