It would be difficult because your upright does not have an exhaust port where you can hook up a hose. You would have to attempt to funnel the air from the exhaust filter into a hose or tube.
the Dyson upright does not have an exaust outet you can plug a hose into to blow up the mattress, I had the same problem and Dyson told me that basically you can't reverse their vacumme cleaners to blow up mattresses etc.
There is no other way to clean mattress except by using a vacuum cleaner. It is because when you use water in cleaning your mattress, this might start molds especially when the mattress layer has remains of moisture. If you want to have a stain free, spotless and moisture-free mattress, use a mattress pad. Or you may use a waterproof mattress pad to avoid unwanted stains in order to keep a clean mattress at all time. A waterproof mattress also protects your mattress against undesirable odor and has maximum protection ability.
Take the hose from the suction side and place it on the discharge side of your machine ... You can also use a hair dryer ... or ... heaven forbid, actually blow it up manually.
You need to remove the main head with the brushes from the front and install the safety cup. The remove the bag by unclipping from the top and disconnecting the boot end from the bottom with an outwards twist. Now attach the hose to the exposed outlet; attached the thin nozzel designed for inflating to the hose and switch on - you will feel air being expelled from the hose. Air, which normally contains dirt and dust because you're hoovering is blown into the bag, but now with the bag removed; the air is blown into your hose, through the attachment and into what ever needs inflating.
