Currently, Olympus has released only two updates for this camere model that are Pictbridge Firmware update and USB Auto-connect Driver for Windows 98/SE.
None of the above Firmware updates are meant to extend the memory card usage.

4GB Sandisk CF Type II card will not format

It won't format because the total memory capacity of that camera is just a little over 512mb.
You might be able to go onto the Olympus site and download updates to the camera firmware that will take you beyond the 512.

C 750 olympus is not accepting 2 gb card

According to user manjual, Olympus C750 accepts XD cards up to 256mb only, But according to info made availble by Olympus it can take up to 512 mb cards.

I have never tried my self using othre than 128 mb card, except once I tried to use 1 gb card and it reported error saying 'cannot format'.

I bleieve Olympus hasn't made attempts to make availble a firmware upgrade as the camera doesnt have ne more etramemory to accept updates.

I have a finepix s5600camera. will the olympus xd m+ 2g memory card work in it? if not what is the highest memory and type or brand i can get please

I use a Fujifilm M 2gb xd card in my S5600.
As a rule I stay with fuji xd cards because I, and a few other people, have had some previous issues with Olympus cards in Fuji cameras.
Some compatability issues have occured with software. Some times they work and then fail with out notice which is a bummer when you want to use it.
Also not sure as to the firmware updates on this model to allow for newer high capacity memory cards

Z3 will not accept a 2g card

The Dimage Z3 accept SD cards up to 1GB (Minolta says 512 Mb, and sold it with 16Mb). This camera is 4MP , and uses less memory on card, therefore a 512MB card will be enough for it.

PNY Flash memory card - 512 MB SD Memory Card ...

I have d 395 olympus camera, i have a new 512 mb card, but it shows card error all the time

The problem is that the largest xD card that your camera can support is a 512mb card. The firmware in the camera cannot support memory storage with cards that have the letters M or H in front of the 512mb. The camera came out before those cards did and there no plans to upgrade the camera to allow those types of cards to be supported.

Problems adding memory to e250r

If your firmware is version 1, the largest you can use is a 4Gb card. You need version 3 firmware to use cards up to 16Gb. To check your firmware version, go to Settings>Info.

Do you mean you want to use a 1 gig xD card in your C-750? You can't do that. The C-750 has a memory card size limit of 512 mb.
