There is no code for resetting a radio. If there is not reset switch, you can reset a radio by disconnecting power to it for a few seconds. This can be done by either disconnecting the wire harness behind the radio, or if you don't know how to get the radio out of the dash, you can disconnect one of the terminals of the battery for a few seconds.
If it is a factory stereo, you have to call a Saturn dealer and they will give you a code to unlock.I don't know if the automatically tell you how to do it so you may have to ask.Write it down too because it will happen every time the battery gets disconnected and sometimes it needs to be even though they aren't working on your battery.Good luck! Greg
I assume it's a factory stereo?I have done a lot of research online about these code problems since there are so many.My conclusion is that your best bet is to contact a Ford dealer and they will help you at no cost. They have the best knowledge and training about stereos for their cars.If it is not a factory deck such as Pioneer,Sony etc.,let me know.Good luck! Greg
Unfortunately Kenwood codes are only available from the Main Dealer or
by using a Radio Decoding Service who will connect a laptop to read the
working code inside your radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)
It sounds like you stereo did not retain it's memory during the battery change. Unless you have the code, or the serial number written down somewhere, you will have to remove the stereo and get the serial number off the unit to request a new one.
