The lcd is flipped upside down how do i repair and now I can't see the screen

When the viewport is completely flipped around so you can see it when you are looking at the lens, it automatically flips it upside down so it is right side up to the viewer. Make sure it is locked into the correct position to prevent this from happening.

Did the screen flip like Shaking ? If yes your phone needs some service or the faulty comes from the LCD(display).So if you can open the cover just remove the LCD socket and clean it or you can contact mobile repairing shop.Good luck

I guess you used factory reset, then picture flips back to table/ front mode.
In setting menu choose for ceiling ( R upside down icon) and set this to ON.

There is a switch within the camera that controls the orientation of the LCD image. When the screen is flipped upside down, the switch is supposed to tell the camera to flip the image upside down as well. If this switch is damaged, the camcorder gets the wrong signal and the image will be displayed upside down. This can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.

The projecting mechanism is broken. If it is the same on all inputs all the time, you need a repair. Call sony at 800.222.7669

You need to bring it to a Nextel repair shop and have the flip replaced, its the only fix a software issue that affects the LCD

This is a feature not a bug...The LCD is designed to flip the picture when you rotate the screen. This is so that you can see what you filming or be in the picture and see yourself filmed. I can't remember if it flips automatically or not. But, I would first try inverting and reverting the LCD screen to see if you can get it to detect orientation, then check and see if there is a setting to manually set the orientation of the LCD instead under the menu options.

flip switch is not working or stucked, a loose wire connected to this switch is also possible. you may open the unit and check for it. a pro fix is better.
