Hello,

The reason the player keeps loading and showing no disc is simply because the lens of the player is weak.

To fix this,

  1. Open the cover of the player with the appropriate screwdriver,
  2. Open the disc tray, you will see the lens, like a crystal or diamond like object,
  3. Replace the lens by removing it with the mechanism that supports it and fixing the new lens,
  4. Test it with a DVD disc.
  5. Cover the player back.
Take care

Mitsubishi 10 CD player. Loads well. Why doesn't it play?

A few reasons :

  1. the discs are scratched
  2. the discs are dirty
  3. the lense is dirty
  4. the transport is faulty
If 1, replace discs
if 2, purchase a cd cleaner
if 3, purchase a cd lense cleaner
if 4, you will know as the past 3 didn't solve your problem.
if this is the case, you'll need to get the laser replaced professionally

Won`t play dvd`s.try a cleaning disc no luck!possible dvd diode gone?any help please.Nigel...

Hi Nigel,
There are three reasons for discs not playing.
First, if the set has been lying for some time, the loading belt becomes lose and the loading is not complete. The result is no disc play.
Second, there is dust on the lense. Again the result is no disc play.
Third, the lense unit has gone bad or weak. Here also the result is no disc play.

It will not play Dvd Error message says reject Dvd disc may not be playable type. One DVD began to play but kept jumping. Tried multple Dvd a Few fresh out of box

The device does not play.

Ensure that a supported disc is loaded in the player label-side up.

Ensure that the disc's region code matches the player's region code.

Ensure that the disc's rating level does not exceed the player's.

Ensure that the disc is not damaged or too dirty. Clean the disc or try another disc.

Moisture may have condensed inside the player. Remove the disc and leave the player on for
1-2 hours and then try again.

or lense may be dirty, try using a dvd 'head' cleaner. this may help situation, if continues, may be internal issue and need repair.
