I have a pandigital photo frame and after months of displaying pics, suddenly there are not files or photos stored. When I try to connect to my PC to transfer photos again, it says that pc connection is established but "remote is temporarily inoperative".

Perhaps the power adapter is bad or not connecting to charge it.

The power adapters are for sale online, but unsure if you would want to purchase from the United State or the United Kingdom or Canada online.

well first install the software into your pc run the cd and install the Image Shuttle.exe file. then plug USB cable end"B" to fram and "A" to pc windows should auto detect and install the required drivers
to import files connect the frame to your pc using the USSB cable open IMAGESHUTLE program check if it detects your frame using folder browser find the pics you want to add highlight the pic and click ADD once done choosing your pics click the TRNASFER button

I have a Mac and tried to drag and drop my photos as mentioned above. The results?

- Wiped all pictures off of the frame.
- When I tried to reload from my laptop it shows "format not supported" as a placeholder for the pictures. The images are in jpg format.

How can I fix this problem?

If you use iPhoto to put photos on the frame, you'll end up with a bunch of extra files on the frame that say "Unsupported Format". This is file management data added by iPhoto.

When you connect the frame via the USB cable, it should just appear as an icon labeled "Pandigital" on the desktop. You can just drag and drop your photos onto this icon.

this is not a problem!;this always appears when you connect the USB cable to the PC and the frame.What you do next is ignore the frame and concentrate on the pc: go to the file where you have your pics stored, RIGHT click on the folder or pics you want to load and hit SEND TO ,in this case send to the Pandigital drive connection .Play with this with a couple of photos,check your frame to make sure they loaded and if ok then load all you want!

You need to purchase media card reader then you can transfer your photo. media card reader is device which is use as cable connect to computer ..t

How big our your jpg pic files?
reduce them to 800x600: sh hold about 200+ pics.
also delete the pics that were pre-loaded

if there is a cable to connect the frame to the comp put the carf in the frame and hook up the frame install picts through the frame. that is how most of them do it. it converts the pic to a different format easier for it to read. it wont just read drag and drop jpg files. it also formats the card to it own specs.
