Re: Sharp AR 337 won't turn on
If you are not getting any lights when you plug in and turn on power switch. These would be the steps I would follow, make sure on/off switch is functioning, 15 amp fuse is good or any fuse on power supply board, make sure power is coming out of power supply board. Power supply is the board with the power cord coming up to. Hope this helps. Should have a tech familiar with this machine check.

Type # - interrupt - C - interrupt and clear the code with simulation 14 and then hit CA to exit. If the code comes back there is a problem with your fuser (dirty thermistors cloged with toner, or one of the lamps are out)
This machine is to old. Sharp does not support drivers for these anymore. Try using an HP driver and configure the port to the IP address of the Sharp 337. You will not have any finisher functions, but you should be able to print.
The fusing temperature does not reach 175C degrees within 30 sec of turning on the power, or the fusing temperature keeps at 140C degrees.
C/I/0/I code 14. If it doesn't reset probably a blown thermostat on those piece of **** fusers. Also have seen the lamps some, mostly thermostat. If it has many miles on it I'd just replace the fuser.
If the previous methid wont work..., Clear --> Density select --> Clear --> Density select is for service mode. Check code 26-30 and set to 0 - CE mark support control OFF Try surge arrest power source.
H3: Heat roller high temperature detection cause:-
Control PWB defective
Improper connection of fusing unit connector
AC power supply defective
check and remedy:- Check heater lamp operation with SIM5-2. If lamp blinks properly: Check thermister and its harness. Check thermister input circuit of control PWB. If lamp lights and stays lit: Check lamp control circuits of AC PWB and control PWB. Clear the trouble with SIM14.
Hello sir; I like you check the exit senser first see does it move freely, if yes, then do a reset procedure; press "program", "interupt", "clear", "interupt" then enter 14 press start, turn power off and back on.
what is you OS? check you printer drivers. are they properly installed?, what is your connection between your PC to your printer?, AR 275 can be connected thru network, parallel port, and a USB... they have different printer drivers
