Rimage Everest III printing quality issues

Hello,

The problem seems to be with graphics, when printing through CorelDarw and Photoshop, even with CD original designer which was with Everest III driver kit. CorelDraw vector printing results were: uneven graphics with scattered round, bended corners, dotted lines and text. We have tried raster graphic printing from photoshop and ran into similar problem: scattered text, round objects, dot-covered sides of graphical objects, here we encaunered strange case - one side of the object printed perfeclty and other dotted.. Support inquiry did not help much, the problem is still in diagnosis phase. Hope you can help. Please reply as soon as possible.

Regards,
Jay

Hi Jay, do you have any idea how many discs have been printed with this Everest Printer?

Your issue sounds like a hardware error, not an issue with the software you are printing from. Most likely the printhead needs to be replaced, or the control board. Printhead replacement costs approx $1200.

Hi my Rimage III is getting stuck picking the disc up. The grabber wont go down.

Making a few assumptions here - Everest III auto printer is the equipment you own and are having issues with? Or possibly a Prism III auto loader? Either way it sounds like you need to perform lift home calibration. If this doesn't work it could be that your gripper is failing and needs to be repaired or replaced. The next step would be to replace the white gripper ribbon cable. If you need help call my company, we are here to help - Techware Distribution Inc in Bloomington, Minnesota. Have an Everest III disc printer that is not printing good labels. Seems the blue prints OK but the are streaks on the disc where the red and yellow should be printing. Changing the ribbons didn't

First thing is to completely CLEAN the printer. All rollers and any point that contacts the ribbons or transfer material.

Hi, I had the same problem with my Rimage Everest and Prism printers. I had loads of problems with them. I managed to solve the problem by contacting these guys, www.rpadistribution.com They were really helpful and I must admit I can not remember what they did but they talked me through some processes with me and managed to get them both working for me together on the same PC

Why does my printer takes ages to print a disc

The printer will take about 5 min to print the first disc as it needs to warm up and then every disc after will take 60 ~ 90 seconds depending on the quality settings.
