My lg rumor 2 is about 5 months old and it froze so i took out the battery. But know if i try to turn it on it starts up shows the logo then turns it self on an off until u take the battery out. How do i fix it?

First, make sure if this problem appear after you install any APP, if so you can try to brush system to fix it.
Else maybe the following cases:

1, mobile phone motherboard leakage lead the current too large.
2, The inside circuit protection of the lithium battery is too sensitive, so it power off when circuit is large.
3, the battery itself is aging.
4, Battery contacts are dirt-bit, causing bad power supply.
5, The engagement between the battery and the phone is easy to loose bits. (try to remove the back case and press the battery then try to turn on it to see if it also turn off and on). If so, just make a piece of paper to stand the battery up
Of course, don't forget to see if the power button is back to its own place

Try this : Remove the sim card, start the phone. Wait about 2-3 minutes then turn it off or remove the batt. and insert the sim card and start the phone again. It should start normally. This is not a certain solution.

unplug the charger... take out the battery. leave it for about 15 minutes. put the battery back in and turn the phone on. should work then

I Took A Shower With My Phone In The Bathroom And It's An LG Rumor 2 From Sprint And It Wont Turn On At All. I Tried Putting In A New battery And Everything.. What Should I Do ?

This happened to me also. Just let it sit there with it's battery OUT of it.. until it stops, this may take a week or 2.

Get it to nearest cellphone repair center.

Sounds like the firmware in the phone is fried. Best thing to do is take it back to where you got it from, and tell them what's happening, they should be able to help you if it's still with 12 months. You could also take it to a repair shop, they may be able to help you.

power cycling is a common problem for the rumor. you need to reload the software - do an upate. You'll usually have to go to your provider for that

You need to take your LG Rumor back to the store were you bought it. If you have insurance they will fix it or give you a new phone.

If you have a memory card in the phone...take it out. then turn take out the battery. Turn it back on. And if that works. its because you have a virus and or corrupted file on that memory card. Same thing happened to me. But now the screen is all messed up everytime i slide it open or closed.
