I installed a honeywell CT87N thermostat. The heat works perfectly, but when I tried to use the air conditioner, I turn the setting to cool with the temperate set at 65 degrees and the furnace comes on too. Please help.

Ct87n thermstat is hooked up and the heater is on because i smell the heat but it is not blowing out the vent
The blower motor isn't running. At the thermostat, red wire to the R terminal white wire to W terminal.or W2 If the blower still doesn't run It's probably not the thermostat.

These are color codes wires for terminals that control fan relay,start,stop, temp-up/down ect. Also you can trace out those wires, Where they are going and what terminal on the wiring schematic they control.

Check for a fuse in your AC/Heating system either on the control board or in-line on a wire. Make sure the wires are correct to the thermostat.
