I have a nintendo ds lite, that is older but only used a few times. My son just stuck a metal object in the back game slot while he was playing pictochat and the whole thing shut down and will not turn back on. There are no lights, after charging nothing and with a different battery that works in another ds there is still nothing, completely dead. Help!!!

The spring that holds the game in place is broken and needs to be replaced. at some point someone may have snatched the game out instead of pressing it in then ejecting it.

thanks in advance for your feedback
I can tell you.You might have to clean the back metal strips on your Ds game or game Pak.Also the game pak's internal battery has runned dry.Use a cutip to clean inside (works on Ds games)Turn on and off the Ds muiltiples off times and it should have work.I tried it and it worked.
had this problem, i looked into where the game goes and one of the little metal teeth was bent, so i took a long toothpick and gently pushed it back over now it works fine. Be careful that you dont break it off though.
