Specs are not needed. I suspect you need the local frequencies and how to program them. The scanner CAN be set to scan for the local frequencies. Have a pad and paper ready and write down the ones you want to keep.
You must obtain the local frequencies, try Google. They are public knowledge, but hard to find. Local Hams or a Radio Shack will likely have the frequencies. Be nice, be polite, no one has to give you this information.

put your scanner in manual mode.and then go to program mode and program your frequencies into your scanner.try that and see if that works.....if not it could be a problem in your Radio....

They probably went into a digital trunking system. Your Pro-95 will only handle Edacs, Type I and II standard trunking.

Or they changed the trunking voice frequencies and the data (control channel) frequency.

Which system are you trying to listen to? Which city area ??

Radio Shack no longer sells the frequency software for this scanner. the drivers for your computer are on the cds you have so hold on to them they also are no longer available. radioreference.com may have the software for programming

Law enforcement agencies employ a number of high-level encryption systems, including DES, to prevent eavesdropping on their radio communications. In addition, some EDACS trunking systems have a ProVoice option that encrypts communications to and from specific users. Sorry, but you will NOT "overcome" these encryption systems. Keys for the systems are updated regularly, so even if you "found" a radio from the system you would not be able to listen in for more than a day or so.

While it's scanning, press any keyboard number (0 thru 9) to activate/deactivate scanning on the corresponding bank.

You more than likely want the FM mode. If you are listening to a trunked agency then you will have to know if they are on the MOT, or EDACS system and choose the correct one.

Are you getting talkgroup ID's? If not, you're probably monitoring the EDACS system in conventional mode rather than trunking. When the scanner hears those beeps, it's supposed to go back to monitoring the control channel if you're in either trunking mode (search or scan). This also happens if the CC isn't coming in very well. If you're not in trunking mode, read the manual to find out more about programming and monitoring trunked systems. If you are in trunking mode and receiving ID's, the unit is probably malfunctioning.
