I don't know what happened but my pictures are gone and I don't know how to get them back! Please help!!?!

Assuming you didn't download the pictures to your computer ... and as part of the download option, you elected to erase/remove the pictures (after downloading them) from the camera ... and you have not done anything (on the camera menu) to "refresh" or erase the pictures, or reformat the storage media (memory card) ...
then ...
... if the pictures are stored in a memory card .... you can take that memory card out of the camera, insert it into your computer ( ... or use a card reader, inserted into a USB port) ... and see if you can recover the "deleted" data from the memory card ...

... if the camera only has "internal" memory ... connect the camera to your computer ... and when it shows up as a storage media, try to recover the "deleted" data from the memory card ...

You can (find on the Internet) and install and use various (free) software (on your computer) to recover "deleted" files on storage media (memory card, etc.), ... on a Windows PC ... like PhotoRec, PC Inspector File Recovery, Undelete Plus (or Undelete 360), Glary Undelete, Wise Data Recovery, Recuva Free.

Memory card is yours and in my Easy share kodak I seem to have erased them all. Poss to restore

What is needed is an "undelete" program. These types of programs work very well when the data has not been overwritten. If an overwrite has happened, a portion of / or the entire file that was overwritten will be lost. This is very similar to the way the "Recycle Bin" in Windows works.

Some of these programs are free, some offer a limited trial and some will not allow use at all without paying for a license. There are different scenarios that each program works best in. Here is a list of some of the programs that can undelete files (not just picture files). Review them to see which suits your needs best.

Good luck!

Hello, While importing the photos, I have check marked delete all option button. So after importing i didnt save the photos as a result my photos got deleted from the memory card. Can you please tell...

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted are probably still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but there are programs for doing this on a computer. You can put the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and use an undelete program to recover the deleted files. Undelete programs are available for free download from the internet, try the one at THIS LINK

If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.

I was trying to change my settings to take better pictures in the dark and I said yes to format. Now I can't see my pictures. Did I erase them all on my memory card, or is there a way to restore them? ...

Formatting deletes everything on the memory card, but you can recover the pics.

You may have to have the program do a "surface scan" to find the pics after a format, not just a normal undelete.

I have managed to lose the pictures on my memory card,i didnt delete them, but i went into the format menu and somehow have managed to erase them

Formatting, if that's what happened, will delete everything on the card.

This program can recover pictures from formatted cards, but you will need to do an extra step called surface scan (in the program) to find them.

Did not erase but since last night photo's on card have gone.

Did you copy them to your computer? In some cases, the computer will default to "moving" the pictures instead of copying. "Move" deletes the original after making the copy.

What does it mean to format pictures? I didnt mean to format them and now all of my pictures are gone.

You aren\'t actually formatting pictures - you are formatting the media the pictures are on.
If you selected yes - your pictures are indeed gone.
There are a few options for retrieval, but they can get costly.
Technically - they are still there - as long as another file hasn\'t been written on the device with the same name.
Refrain from taking pictures until you decide what you are going to do.

Erased pictures.

You can try connecting the memory card to a PC via a memory card reader and using an undelete utility to recover the files. Go to this link for a step-by-step procedure and software references (free). http://www.ehow.com/how_4461259_restore-deleted-files-sd-card.html
