Squeaky Door....embarrasing! what kind of grease can i use so my driver side door on my 2000 vw jetta doesn't squeak?

1: White Lithium Grease
2: Silicone Grease

Either will work just as well, though lithium may be easier to find at the local auto-parts store...and a bit cheaper.
* They silicone comes in a spray which makes it easier to get to the hinges.

In a pinch, a can of Liquid Wrench will cure the noise, but it doesn't offer the long-term benefits of grease.

** There are 2 sets of hinges, upper and lower...and be sure to get the rollers on the guide arms.
