The metering jet filter on top of the heads are blocked or the solenoid coil is damaged.

I have a premier maxi which recently stopped heating the water. When the coffee is brewed, it comes out cold. not hot water and no steam. What can the problem be??

First thing I would check is the reset thermostat on the right side of the machine above the element. Turn machine switch off then push in on pin you will hear a click.

Nuova Simonelli Premier Maxi V , 2005...when water turned on machine constantly leaking from the pressure relief valve and the hot water valve.

Has the machine been in cold storage? If no then the inlet solenoid could be the culprit. There might be sediment keeping the valve open.

The water flows very slow on group 1. On the other group it flows ok.

There could be a couple of reasons for this. The simplest could just be that you need a new group (brew) solenoid valve, yours might not being opening fully. You could also have a clog some where. Take the shower head out and soak it in PuroCafe over night. If that doesn't fix it you would have to start checking the jets in the head and or the tubing that supplies water from the heat exchanger to the groups.

Machine not making steam

Remove the right side panel and check the reset on thermostat(make sure there is water in the boiler before pressing reset).

Nuova simonelli mac cup red light

It sounds like the thermostat on the boiler nest to the element tripped. Fill machine with water until you can see the level about half way, then open the right side of the espresso machine, you might be able to get to thermostat from the top of machine (make sure it is unplugged) then press the red pin on the boiler between the 2 wires, that should reset the thermostat, if it does not then it will need to be replaced. As for the water on the top of the group head, is there any way you can post a pic of the top, because simonelli made a few different head and I want to give you the correct advise.

Doesnt work when its warm

The pumps in these are low resolution pumps and don't seem to take a lot of stress. We ran the same machine with three groups 362 days a year. You probably need to replace the pump. You should watch your gauges and be pulling 9 - 10 bars when pulling a shot. The top side of your gauges is water pressure coming in. Sounds like a new pump. Good luck.
