Re: How do I get my tomtom off walking mode
Go into the submenu system, check that you didn't change it from car to walking, if you didn't then keep going through the menus you will eventually find a setting in there of what you want to display in the corners and you should be able to change it there. Process will take you awhile to find the right menu, but you may be able to find it in the manual quicker. Hope this helps

i have a tomtom one, not sure if they are all basically the same, but try this. you should be able to via the settings menu. tap screen, tap 'change preferences' and scroll through the screens until you see 'change time' use the little arrows to set the correct time, and then select 24hr mode. if you are not happy with 24hr mode then select 12hr mode. if you know it is pm but sat nav is showing the correct time but in am, then simply increase the hours by 12.
It is possible that you have the TomTom set for "walking routes" or "bicycle routes" or "limited speed." (I have a TomTom One 3rd edition, so if you have a different model the menus/icons may be different, but it's worth a shot.)
Click on the main part of the screen, while on the main navigation screen. Then click on "Change preferences." Then click the blue arrow to scroll to the Preferences 3 of 5 page. Click on "Planning preferences." Choose the planning preferences that you want. Hope this helps...
