go to settings or go to google to translation type in English in Spanish check your phone in lanuages then press the botton that corresponds to English try that
start>settingscontrol panel>regional and language options. As for the cd-rom, it can be bought from your local computer store. Hope that helps. Cheers from NZ
Start the unit up and go through the preferences. You will have to decipher the icons but, depending on what language you have it set for now, it shouldn't be too hard to find the language setting.
Is it a DS lite?
The game changes to the language your ds is set to. Remove all cartidges and start the ds. Press the setup icon on the bottom of the touch screen (in the middle and looks like a tiny ds).
Press the pink wrench icon.
Press the globe icon.
Choose English.
Press the 'A' button.
Press 'B' twice.
Press 'A' to shut down.
Now play in english.
