TV IS AN ORION TV/VCR COMBO. THE BEDROOM TV IS IN RUNS OFF THE LIVING ROOM RECEIVER. THE TV CHANNEL IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON 60. NO REMOTE 4 TV, TO CHANGE CHANNEL TO 60. TRYING TO PROGRAM DISH REMOTE. 1 CODE 4 THIS TV 694 AND ITS NOT WORKING. NO CODE 4 COMBO. ALSO TRIED SCANNING 4 DEVICE CODES AND CHECKING THEM. HAVE A BLACK REMOTE AMD THE GRAY ONE NEITHER ARE WORKING. HELP

If the remote does even one function the receiver in the set is not the problem. It is possible if the remote is designed to program to another unit you have it in the wrong mode TV or Vcr or something other than your set.

It is impossible to make an auto tune function to this TV without its remote control, as there is no Menu button on its front panel. OK.

1. Turn on a desired device (e.g.,VCR or DVD player) and, if

Hello! On the back of your receiver box you'll see a silver UHF antennae make sure its pointing straight up. If that fails try the steps in this link

I have had the same problem I have two bell receivers one in the bedroom and one in the living room, in low light the remote in the living room would work much like yours, but if I took the same remote into the bedroom it worked fine in low light, the second remote responded exactly the same, the problem in my situation was the TV had a light sensor that adjusts the picture depending on the light in the room, with this option turned off. The remote works just fine in low light situation.

If you have a dual tuner it is in sigle mode. Go to the front panel on the receiver and press the mode button. This may be behind a push open door based on the receiver you have. If this does not work let me know. Thanks for using Fix Ya.
