You can just buy a new remote. Test it using the smartphone front camera trick. Or it is the television that has no signal, do a Power Reset. Pull the mains plug for 5 minutes. Press and hold the power button on the set for 1 minute. Plug back in. Also check the input leads on the back for whatever is supplying the signal, Cable, Satellite, OTA, then check the Source button on the remote.

It sounds like it is not getting steady DC voltage, that will be the first place to check.
From the spec, it does not indicate if it has built-in power supply or using the AC adapter. http://www.subincho.com/hardware_review/pdf/fsc_p19-1.pdf
try run safemode, press the powerbutton, after 10 sec...press F8 key then select safe mode, once loaded in the safemode, then restart the computer again.
I had a similar problem with my HANNSLounge 32", the screen switched on with green light but none of the front panel buttons worked (screen is black apart from showing the input source in the top left).
After powering off numerous times I tried starting up with a blank SD card in the reader and the tv cycled between red green and blue screens and then reset itself. (Some sort of firmware restore?) After which point I had a working screen again! (Will have to see how long it lasts for!)
unplug it.
Open it up
Remove the battery
wait 5 seconds
press and hold the powerbutton for 3 seconds to dump any eletricity remaining
replace the battery
try resodering the connections on the flyback. Its fairly comon for that model to have hairline cracks at the solder joints which will cause the symptoms youre describeing.
