My top load hotpoint washer leaks in the bottom

You will have to look underneath to locate the point of the leak. If the washer is very old the tub may be rusted through or a hose or clamp could be the problem or a seal is gone.

Water leak from the bottom of washer

Hi friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that water is leaking from the bottom of your Frigidaire washer. There are many components that could cause a washer to leak the bellow (gasket), leak from drain hose, drain pump, or water valve. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend having a technician come out to diagnose and repair your appliance. Hope this is helpful. -Matt

Washer

No offense, but I think it's time for a new washer. The only thing that comes to mind for leaking would be a broken hose. Is it leaking out of the bottom bottom or like the bottom of the door?

Leaking from bottom of washer

Do you have the little door at the bottom to collect lint and stuff that goes through the washer? I had a leaking problem once when I simply didn't tighten it enough. Check that.
