I have the same problem. The power button won't light up so the oil stays cold. Mine is model F1063B with the magnetic power cord.

Mine is F1043B. A piece of S*** I got to cook in it 1 bloody time and that's it. It started heating up the second time light went off I though it was ready but the fries didn't beble in the fat like it should've. Please do yourselves a favor do NOT buy anything with a magnetic plug. I know I never will.

We have the same problem with our Bravetti F1063B. We have had ours one year and it worked fine the four times we used it. When we tried to use it today (for a very important dinner I might add) it would not heat up. The light does not come on to show that the power is getting to it. Very frustrating. We are off to buy another deep fryer. Not a Bravetti I can assure you.

Hey guys I fixed my problem...yay. All I did was to push a red button which I beleive is a resset button on the back of the on/off button part. It ain't visible but if you look in the holes of the screws that hold this part together (they are far down in the hole) one of them hides a small red button. Push it down with a toothpick or anything small enough to fit the hole and you're done. Plug it back and it works.

I have lost the power cord and cannot find a source for replaceme

This product was manufactured in China for Euro-Pro and your power cord is available for that model. Just go to the following website: http://www.euro-pro.com/europro/default.aspx. Type in your model number in the parts search on the left side of the page. Your power cord is available for $9.95 plus s/h. I hope this information was satisfactory and please visit fixya.com again.

Bravetti 8l deep fryer f1100h

Either there is insulation missing or misplaced is my first thought. Then if that's not it how is it vented and if there is a leak on the "Hot Gas" from the combustion (assuming you have gas not electric and if electric believe Id be looking at the wiring for bad connections creating excessive heat or wrong type wire not approved for high heat installation).

If this helps you please rate me as high as you can thank you you for using fixya.
