Unfortunately, I don't think you can reset all of the margins and tabs at once. To reset a specific margin, move to that margin and then press ALT and the 6 key simultaneously. (That's the Margin Release.) If you are resetting the left margin, press the backspace (or space) key until you reach the new margin location. Then press Alt + 7 (L Margin) to set the new margin. For the right margin, press space (or backspace) until you reach the new margin location. Now, press Alt + 8 to set the new right margin location.
You can clear all of the tabs by pressing and holding Alt + 0 (tab clear) for over half a second.

Roll the paper in sideways. Use the Margin Release key to allow you to backspace to the left of your left margin, then touch the Left Margin key to set the margin at the new location. Go to the right margin and use the Margin Release key again to allow you to space past the right margin, then touch the Right Margin key to set the new margin there. Type.

Yurn on, carrige return to left margin. To move to the left, depress the MR or margin release key, back space to where you want margin. There usually a key that says code or mode, up on the top cover if it has not been cleaned off the 3 key is the margin left key and the 4 key is the margin right key. depress the code key and 3 key will set the left margin. Hope this helps...
hold down the code key and press the margin release, to set margin, just hold code release margin, space over to where you want it and then press Margin set, left or right.
Typewriters have alimit to how far to the right or left that you can set margins. Once you use the alt & 6 key to bypass the current margin setting then move to the new setting then hold the alt key and touch the 7 key to keep it in the new position.
