You will need to know How to Enter the Service Menu to bring up the Convergence Pattern in order to adjust the Convergence,another thing is it depends on which chassis you have RCA had bought the right to use the name Zenith, when in fact these TVs had RCA Chassis and not Zenith Chassis
Remove the back to Tv, Make sure TV is unpluged and look to see if you have on a board Located on the right hand side
2 Big Black ICs they will have Part number on them example STK392-570 these are your convergence ICs that need to be replaced.You can exchange this board for new board at Zenith exchange moduels 1-800-632-6637
But if you have the RCA Chassis then you will have 2 bottom boards one on the Left hand side will be the Deflection board it will have the FBT flyback transfomer on it and their is 2 Ribbons that connect to the board on the right handside which is the ssb board that has your cable/AV input jacks on it.and their will be 2 boards above the 2 bottom boards if these are the boards you have then you can with Tv Off Press and Hold vol- and ch- wait untill TV comes on,release buttons and then you should be in the service menu to adjust convergence manually. Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.

Common Symptoms include....

• Screen looks 3D
• Colors don't line up
• One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
• Screen is bowed or warped.
• TV shuts off after powering on. Power light will blink. TV may also make a chirping noise.

Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the settings menu then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move RED and BLUE in all directions - up, down, left, and right. And you should be able to get the grid straight.

If you can't move them in all directions or cant move them far enough your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

Note: If you TV has as flash focus or magic focus button only try pressing the button. If it fails to fix the convergence your need to fix it. See below for a fix

replace the deflection board. Your model uses the ITC222A deflection PSB-260 You can get the replacement deflection board from www.tvrepairworld.com

The RCA model is a 3 CRT projection TV. Most probably you need a new RED CRT, or there is a problem with the R(ed) channel (the picture is made up of 3 component colors: Red, Green and Blue). No way of telling without testing of the projector. Sorry!
