Channels keep changing while watching TV !!!

Dear Sir/Madam.

I have just recently bought and installed my new Invoca 3.0, which came from the US. In which i am very happy for. The only problem that i have is, while watching tv, it will suddenly change channels.
Can you please tell me what do do or how to stop it from changing channels. ????

Cheers!
Luke.

    Hello Coldwar23.

Thank you so much for your speedy reply to my mail. When i finished installing the voice and channels. The last thing i did was to set the mic level to its lowest. As for the distance from where i sit to the tv. It is pretty far away. So i really don´t think i can do better than that.
Do you have anything else i could try. I´ve been asking people for a week on other websites, and your the first to reply :o)))
I really hope you can help me solve this issue.

    Thanks Again.
    Luke.

You may have the volume on your invoca set too high and it is picking up speech from the television and misinterpreting it as commands. Check the mic level in your battery compartment and mess with the levels so that it still listens to you, but not the tv :)
You can find the manual here and check pages 53 and 58 for better views :) Let me know if this doesn't help. You may have to move the invoca unit itself to a new location that isn't in the "main blast" of the tv speakers. Best of luck mate! Cheers!

D'oh :) I was almost sure it was the volume trick. Sounds like you have your bases covered pretty well mate. Only other thing (meant to be a laugh) I can think of is that the old TV remote is between couch cushions and the buttons are getting squeezed when laughing :) Actually happened to my uncle lol. Seriously, though I will try my mate's this weekend and see if we can get it to do the same thing. In the meantime, I guess you could try brand new batteries (I know I know- first thing ya did). If you have a camera with a "night shot" mode, you can point it at the black IR on the invoca and you should be able to see the IR LEDs lighting up underneath, which would give you a better idea of just when it is happening.
I'm not giving up on ya brother, I've just got to regroup. Hope it doesn't spoil the weekend telly too much in the mean time :)

TV will not change or show channels

You don't say whether you have had it working at that location before. When you move a TV between houses, it is necessary to retune your channels. Would recommend returning to first time installation.
If you haven't moved it recently there are other reasons why this might happen. 1) There is damage to your aerial caused by weather, 2) A power surge or loss of power to the memory battery on your video board has wiped the frequency information from the memory [the memory battery is like a watch battery that keeps a small amount of power going through the system to it can keep your settings when unplugged], 3) The internal tuner board for your TV has packed in.
If '1' is the case, obviously you need your aerial fixed; if '2' is the case you need to retune again [you'll know if the battery is dead if you have to retune every time you turn on the TV]; if '3' is the case you either need a replacement AV board or someone to solder a replacement tuner board to it.

I have recently lost the sound on my 32 inch LCD tv

1.) Check its not muted/ the sound is all the way down
2.) If the TV has seperate speakers make sure they are plugged in to the main unit.
3.) If you are watching tv change the channels, if any channels have sound then the one you were watching has lost signal, try retuning.
4.) If all these have failed your TV may be on the way out :(

I have a Vizio TV and just bought a InVoca 3 voice activated remote control. I did not see any manufacturers codes for my Vizio that I have to enter into my InVoca 3. Can I use my Invoca 3 with my...

For the InVoca 3.0 I used a Goldstar TV code for a Vizio TV.I'm not sure what the 3 digit code was but you can search Goldstar codes on theremote shown in the manual with a 2 digit code 33. You also can train it fromyou remote but I did not try that method. They might have different manualsbecause my manual has more instructions than the online version one.
