USB problems i have the 2 gig mp3 player from ilo and when i try to plug the usb cable into the player and the computer, the mp3 just freezes up and shuts down.

No connection

Make sure that the MP3 player has a fresh battery if it isn't a rechargeable battery through your USB port. Second, try switching the cables from 1 USB to another. If that doesn't work, plug it into the USB and shut down the PC and restart it. It very well may pick it up from that point.

Here are some suggestions:
Try using a new/different USB cable. The ones that come with these players are known to be defective at times.
Try using a different USB port on your computer.
Try it on a different computer.

Ilo is not reconized by the computer

I have the ilo and i had the same problem! I hooked it up with my husbands Creative brand mp3 cord and it worked. It recognized it as the ilo and allowed my to sync. I hope this was helpful.

Ilo mp3 player won't turn on

Ok, SOME MP3/4 Players indeed charge from the USB port, albeit slowly... usually tho there comes a charger that plugs into the "Mains" and then plugs into the USB socket on the Player.. Sometimes if the Battery goes really "Flat" the USB port is unable to supplu enough "Current" sucessfully charge it up. (Hence the need for wall charger) IF it was entirely Via USB it would take many hours, I would at least think overnite. Hope that hepls.
