i think you mean upgrade and yes, if you want to run latest games and good performance you need to change your rig. the gigabyte ga-81915p is very limited, in case of processors used most are old like P4,celeron D and P4HT you need something that can support core 2 series.

You will have to download a software and install it so that your sound device can work.
Try this link directly to the manufacturer's website:
GA-81915P Duo Pro

Download the Microsoft UAA (Universal Audio Architecture) Bus driver (Full Multi-language version ) first and install it. Then download the C-Media Function driver for Intel 925/915 family.
