Fridge temps are actually cooled by the freezer, try turning freezer temp down somewhat-and I highly recommend buying a fridge thermometer, generally speaking I try to keep my fridge at about 34-35 degrees, you can go SLIGHTLY higher,is fridge section directly over freezer??

Fridge side wont cool properly.

Check out this link below for a PDF manual on your item. Great information to have. Just copy and paste into your browser.

Try this:
Temperature Adjustment
• After 24 hours, adjust the controls as needed. Adjust temperature gradually: push the button in small increments,
allowing the temperature to stabilize.
• Press the button(Freezer Temp or Fridge Temp) repeatedly until the desired set temper.
• For lower temperature, press the button(Freezer Temp or Fridge Temp) towards coldest.
• For higher temperature, press the button(Freezer Temp or Fridge Temp) towards cold.

If this does not work for you let me know or you can contact Samsung support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864) Mon - Sun : 9am - 9pm (EST).

Refrigerator cools, but not cool enough, even with temp adjustment turned to coldest setting. Freezer only gets down to 0. Fridge at 44 degrees

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp ..

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

Whirlpool Fridge and Freezer quit cooling properly at the same time.

You likely have a defrost system problem.....call a service company to look at it.

The temp is set to the coldest and the fridge is just "cool"

try pulling out the fridge. Turn power off
1: Take the lower back cover off.
2: Inside you will see a Compressor, Fan, and a Flat coil that looks like a Radiator on a car.
3: Vacum all these areas really good. Dirt slows fridge cooling performance.
4: Replace Cover just the way you took it off. its important that the cover is on.
Hope it works
