The refrigerator area is not cooling properly. We turned it up to the coldest temp. and it's still not cooling. Any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks,

Fridge temps are actually cooled by the freezer, try turning freezer temp down somewhat-and I highly recommend buying a fridge thermometer, generally speaking I try to keep my fridge at about 34-35 degrees, you can go SLIGHTLY higher,is fridge section directly over freezer??
Try this: Temperature Adjustment • After 24 hours, adjust the controls as needed. Adjust temperature gradually: push the button in small increments, allowing the temperature to stabilize. • Press the button(Freezer Temp or Fridge Temp) repeatedly until the desired set temper. • For lower temperature, press the button(Freezer Temp or Fridge Temp) towards coldest. • For higher temperature, press the button(Freezer Temp or Fridge Temp) towards cold.

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer
are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of
cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.
The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent
between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through
it.There is a flap you adjust with the
fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the
fridge temp ..
check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In
most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board.
If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.
try pulling out the fridge. Turn power off
1: Take the lower back cover off.
2: Inside you will see a Compressor, Fan, and a Flat coil that looks like a Radiator on a car.
3: Vacum all these areas really good. Dirt slows fridge cooling performance.
4: Replace Cover just the way you took it off. its important that the cover is on.
Hope it works
