Need to restore winbook jiv mini to original state

I need to restore a winbook jiv mini to original state. I cannot access the help and support desk. Is there a manual way to restore the system, because I have tried an F11 boot, and also tried removing programs I thought may have caused me to recieve viruses. I just want my pc to be in it's original store bought state, so that I can start over. I do not own the startup discs, for I purchased this pc from a friend. Please help, and I thank you for it in advance.

There are two ways to access Roxio BackOn Track to recovery the computer, either through the boot menu, or through the Windows Start menu.
You can use the boot menu to restore your computer to a previous working state or to return the computer to the state it was in before the last time it was restored.
    1. Press the power button to turn on the HP Mini.
    2. Press and hold down the f6 key to open the Windows Boot Manager, use the down arrow key to select Roxio BackOnTrack , and then press the enter key to open Roxio BackOn Track.
If you can access Windows, in addition to restoring your computer to a previous working state, you use other options, such as Disaster Recovery.
    1. Click Start , All Programs , Roxio , BackOnTrack , and then BackOnTrack Home to open Roxio BackOn Track

How do I return our Dimension 5100 Dell Desktop back to it's original state? Lost the recovery CD.

Have you tried restoring your operating system to a previous restore point?
To do this click on start- all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore. Then choose a date from the calendar which corresponds to a time before you began to experience problems on your PC. Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your PC to its original state.
Note that a system restore will remove any programs which were installed AFTER the selected restore point date.
Hope this helps.

Laptop CMOS battery

This is for Winbook WinBest 233MMX may be good for other Winbooks
Had trouble booting then just quit booting altogether...
For a quick fix that won't require soldering....
Replace the cmos battery2.gif. If it is more than 7 years old, it will most likely be weak or dead.
Remove the keyboard by sliding the KB toward you and lift the top up and slide out, Remove KB ribbon cable2.gif from connector by pulling on the plastic tab, remove the 4pin KB power connector. Then remove bottom screws and separate the case.
Locate the 3V battery, Pry the top tab of the 3v battery off the welded ends with a small needlenose, Pry the battery off the mini board, bend battery tabs so the new non-tabbed battery will be squeezing the new battery for contact, + is up!, add a piece of electrical tape to secure it from sliding. Replace bottom case and screws and then re-attach keyboard2.gif ribbon cable and 4 wire power connector. Re-boot and reset cmos ( CTRL-ALT-S ) on boot. Set your time. You must set the boot sequence to C:. It will then auto boot to C: WALLA! WIN98!

Crashed desk top been reformatted wontaccept medion system files

Seems like you will need to get your hands on a restore disk or windows installation cd for the version you have.

You will need to either restore the computer to the original state or install a fresh installation of windows from the setup cd, after that you need to get the drivers for the computer from medion support.
