The screen flashes whenever I move it around it looks like the scrren is off when it turns black.

You need to replace the screen.

Internal power supply is hurting. It is a non linear supply and they switcher transisters are not working

i think your graphic card or motherboard has been broken, try to get a replacement

I have the same problem.

Only work around I found was installing Rockbox, then in the settings turning off the wheel light.

Seemed guessing cable issue?? once wheel light when out, the screen would come back.

first check the iris of the camera if it is opening,you will see this when you look inside the lens of the camera when you turn on and off the switch at camera mode if the iris is opening....if the iris is ok the second problem may occurs of your camera is the ccd image sensor....

When you say ?it turns on fine? I?m assuming that the power and hard drive LEDs turn on. If that is the case it could be your LCD backlight giving you problems. With the computer on and the monitor power LED green shine a flashlight in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Look for the ?Start? button, if your backlight is not working you?ll see a faint ?start? button if you look closely.
