You have done all thing I would have suggested and if the BIOS does not detect this DVD drive then it is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the BIOS detects the DVD drive then the DVD driver needs re-installing. You can download the DVD and device drivers for your model laptop from the Toshiba WEB site from their download page. Make sure you enter the model of your laptop so you can get the correct drivers. Please click on this link: - http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp
Connect the incoming antenna to the DVD player (look for connections on the back of the DVD player for Antenna In). Then connect the Dvd player to the Tv. Use the "out" connections on the back of the DVD player and the "in" connections on the back of the tv. You can use RCA jacks to connect the DVD to the tv, or any other type of connection available. Once the DVD player is connected to the tv, you need to set the incoming source on the television. Click on the source button until you find the one that has a clear picture. Dvd connections are usually listed as "aux 1 or 2" on the tv source choices. You will know when you choose the right one because the picture will come in on the tv.
Try to connect it in bluetooth connection. (Wireless connection.). Or try to connect your phone in USB connection. (Wired connection)
For wireless connection:
-open your first your bluetooth connection. (phone and laptop)
-send the the files/photos via bluetooth connection.
-accept the files from your laptop.
For wired connection:
-connect your usb to your phone
-set your phone connection to mass storage
-connect to your laptop, if your laptop detect your phone, search your files, then copy it.. =)
Hi,
You can try few simple steps like changing the USB ports, turning off & turning on the mp3 player and then reconnecting it, and then changing the USB mode on device: Menu --> Settings --> USB mode: MSC or MTP
If these don't work, try the steps here: Sansa e250 Not Detected in PC
Connect cable on combo player cable in post to time warner cable box cable out post. and connect the combo player to TV with audio and video patch cords.
1. goto desktop, right click on my computer and press manage.
2. goto the device manager, find the usb devices / ports.
3. Make sure you are useing a ps2 mouse / keyboard since if your mouse/keyboard is connected to usb they will stop working untill your pc is restarted and the devices are reinstalled.
4. Uninstall all usb devices.
5. after all usb devices are uninstalled reboot the pc.
If the problem is with your drivers ( your pc detects the mp3 player but no drivers found) Download the newest drivers for your product and operateing system from the vendors website.
