I have samsung e840 it have no vibrate no alert incoming call

Hi, did you set the vibrate alert on?.

If you did set it it will give you a vibrating alert.But if not that means you will have to go through where the ringing to setting alert and set the vibrate alert on.

After setting it and no vibration yet,that mean you will have to replace the vibration inside the phone.

Would advice if no experience with phones, contact an expert technician around you.

Samsung C3050 how to set text alert

Follow these steps:

1. Menu > Settings > Phone Profiles
2. While "Normal" button is selected, press "Options" then "Edit"
3. Use right arrow to move from "Incoming Call" tab to "New Messages" tab
4. Select and click "Message Alert Type"
5. Choose "Mute" or "Vibrate"
6. Use down arrow to scroll down to "Alert Tone Volume" then select
7. Use right arrow to find "Off" then select "Off"
8. Select "Save"

The programmers of this phone (Samsung C3050) should be picking apples on a farm.

CUSTOMIZING YOUR PHONE SOUNDS

the samsung sync is a pretty good phone with many options of customization available. problem is, most are hidden. heres how to access them:


1. open phone, and push the side key under the memory card slot. [alternatively, just get to the PROFILE option. in that case, skip 2]

2. scroll over to the 'PROFILE' setting

3. highlight the 'NORMAL' setting, and push the 'OPTIONS' key.

4. go to 'EDIT'. push 'CALL ALERT' and you get a wealth of options.

Sound Settings
You can customize various sound settings.
Incoming call
Note: When downloading MegaTones® or HiFi RingersTM, charges may apply.

Ringtone.
This menu allows you to select a ring melody. Highlight Ringtone and press . Use the Up or Down key to highlight a ring tone or press the Left or Right key to select a file from either the Default Melodies, Voice list, or Sounds folders. Press the Select soft key.

Volume

This menu allows you to adjust the ring volume to one of 7 levels plus Silent mode and Vibration mode.
  • Use the Right or Left key to increase or decrease the volume.

Alert type
This menu allows you to specify how inform you of incoming calls. Use the Right or Left key to select an Alert type.
The following options are available:
- Melody: the phone rings using the ring melody selected in the Ringtone menu.
- Vibration: the phone vibrates but does not ring.
- Melody and vibration: the phone rings and vibrates simultaneously.
- Vibration then melody: the phone vibrates three times and then starts ringing.
- Melody then vibration: the phone rings using the ring melody selected in the Ringtone menu and then vibrates.

Message tone
This menu allows you to set up the ringer for incoming messages. You can set the Tone, Alert type, and Repetition.
  • Use the Up or Down Navigation keys to make your selections.

Keypad tone
This menu allows you to select a Beep or a Xylophone for your Keytone and to select the Volume (0-7) that the
phone sounds when you press a key.

Samsung gt e2120. how can i have it on silent without it vibrating?

Go in the profile and select any profile then select personalize and select INCOMING Call Alert on Off ( Do not select any Tune). this way ur mobile will recieve the call, the screen will show the incoming call but there will be no voice. Ensure that the vibration should also be off as you want it so.

Cant get the phone to vibrate on a incoming call

Lorraine,Go to Settings->Sound->In Coming->Alert type. Select Melody and Vibration. Or similar settings. But it has to be connected to your In Coming Calls.

Go to "settings"

"Phone Profiles"

For each profile, you can set the Call Alert Vibration level and save it.

On normal nor silent profile no alert coming for incoming calls only

Try restoring the factory settings of your phone!

Go to : SETTINGS then FACTORY SETTINGS.. security code: just type 12345.

If still there is no tone alert, then im sure there is a problem with your phone's buzzer, or it might need to clean the contact of the buzzer insice the board. Just try this....

How to turn vibrate on?

You can change the settings of the selected active profile.
Select Menu > Settings > Tones > Incoming call alert, Ringing tone,
Ringing volume, Vibrating alert, Push to talk settings, Message alert
tone
, Instant msg. alert tone, Keypad tones, or Warning tones. You can
find the same settings in the Profiles menu.
